IPCM mobilizes for the Fête de la Science

This year’s theme is “Sport and Science”, in honor of the upcoming 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The IPCM will be present at the Science Village
on October 12, 14 and 15.

The Fête de la Science is a unique opportunity for scientists to share their passion with the general public and promote science and its professions. Once again this year, the Institute is taking an active part in the event, offering fun and educational activities for all ages.

This will be an opportunity for the Institute’s scientists to present the fundamental principles of molecular chemistry in which they specialize, and show how they are applied to our everyday lives. Visitors will also be able to carry out experiments on stands located on Sorbonne University’s Jussieu campus, illustrating these scientific concepts.

In addition to these events, the institute opens its doors to the public to allow them to discover the laboratory and the park of scientific instruments specific to molecular chemistry.

Three themes will be illustrated by the Institute’s teams
