Abstract

Structure is a key parameter that determines the physical properties and functions of molecules and materials. Yet, there are still several unique structures that are difficult to synthesize. We are particularly interested in the topology of molecules, and I will introduce our two recent examples. One is the synthesis of cyclic pi-conjugated molecules with Möbius structure, and the other is the synthesis of structurally controlled hyperbranched polymers
