Poster award – CHAIR 2024 for Alessia Mori

Alessia Mori, a doctoral student in the CASCH group,
received an award for her poster at the C-H Activation for Industrial Renewal (CHAIR) conference held in Lisbon on 23-24 January.

CHAIR fosters research training of early stage researchers (ESRs, i.e. PhD students) on CH-activation.

Our project focuses on establishing strong bridges between academia and industry to develop new C-H activation methodologies and generalise their implementation in industry, from both R&D and production perspectives.

Alessia received the best poster award for her work on “Selective C-H functionalization at C3, C4 and C5 of furfural“.
