Molecular Sciences and Engineering Initiative (iSiM): 9 theses, 7 post-doctoral fellowships, and 5 equipment projects funded since its creation

Created in 2021, the iSiM, which originated in the MiChem laboratory of excellence, aims to inspire new practices by bringing together researchers in analytical, theoretical, and synthetic chemistry at the molecular level.

Led by Christophe Petit (MONARIS Laboratory) and Matthieu Sollogoub (IPCM/GOBS team), the initiative aims to ensure the animation of scientific life around molecular chemistry on campus. Following calls for projects, 9 theses, 7 post-doctoral stays and 5 equipment projects have been financed since its creation. The financing of scientific meetings on different themes is also envisaged.
