Lecture: “Privileged Chiral Catalysts: Selectivity and Generality in Asymmetric Catalysis” by Eric Jacobsen, CNRS Ambassador for Chemical Sciences

He develops new reactions in asymmetric catalysis, and implements state-of-the-art mechanistic and computational techniques applied to the understanding of the mechanisms involved in these reactions.

(*) In 2019, the CNRS Institute of Chemistry initiated the “Ambassadors of Chemical Sciences in France” program. Its ambition? To allow prestigious foreign researchers to visit a series of French laboratories active in their field. These visits not only include high-level lectures by the ambassador, but are also an opportunity to establish preliminary contacts and foster international collaborations for the French laboratories visited.
