First Franco-German Congress of Young Crystallographers

We are delighted to announce that the first Franco-German Congress of Young Crystallographers will be held in Strasbourg from 26 to 29 September 2023.

The aim of this new scientific event is to bring together up to 80 young crystallographers (researchers, doctoral students, post-doctoral students and engineers) from all sciences. The multidisciplinary nature of crystallography will be highlighted at this event, with sessions combining presentations from the fields of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mineralogy and Heritage Sciences in particular.

We will be delighted to welcome guest speakers with inspiring backgrounds from academia and industry, and we will also have the privilege of meeting Jean-Pierre Sauvage, winner of the 2016 Nobel Prize in Chemistry.

The deadline for abstracts is 15 July 2023. Oral presentations will be reserved for young crystallographers (maximum age 35).

For more information, we encourage you to visit the congress website https://www.ycm1.xyz/ or to send us an email at ycm1.communication@gmail.com.
