Hybrid
Materials

This research activity deals with hybrid nanomaterials and the development of their original properties. Our multiscale hybrid materials are prepared combining molecular compounds with inorganic nanoparticles in soft conditions. This strategy allows the combination of each component property to modulate the overall behaviour, or the emergence of novel synergistic behaviours. Here are some examples that illustrate our approach:

Hybrid iron oxide nanoparticles: enhancing and modulating the magnetic anisotropy.

Hybrid nanocrystals: exploring the magnetism-luminescence correlation.
