Research interests

Research interests are focused on the preparation of transition metal substituted PolyOxoMetalates or covalently functionalized POMs as catalysts for atom or group transfer reactions with an emphasis on catalytic oxidation with low environmental impact.

  • (Photo)catalysed (ep)oxidation reactions of alkanes and alkenes
  • Functional models of isolated sites for heterogeneous catalysts
  • Amphiphilic POMs as catalytic surfactants

Keywords: polyoxometalates, inorganic-organic hybrids, early-transition metals, site-isolated catalysts, homogeneous and biphasic catalysis, oxidation.
