Research interests

Protein chemistry, dendrimer chemistry, bioanalysis using metal-carbonyl complexes.

Current research

  • Development of bioorthogonal crosslinkers for bioconjugation.
  • Polyfunctionalization of PAMAM dendrimers to access multimodal platforms of diagnostic or therapeutic interest.
  • Quantitative analysis by infrared using metal-carbonyl complexes.
  • Labelling of proteins and antibodies with metal-carbonyl or fluorescent probes for analytical applications.

Scientific career

  • Chemistry studies at University Paris-Sud (Orsay).
  • 1988-1991 : Ph. D. thesis in organic chemistry (University Paris-Sud) under the supervision of Dr. Claude Wakselman (CNRS-CERCOA, Thiais) : Synthesis of fluorinated analogs of key metabolites of the shikimate pathway.
  • 1992-1994 : Post-doctoral research associate at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Châtenay-Malabry (University Paris-Sud) under the supervision of Dr. Jean-Pierre Bégué : Synthesis of potential inhibitors of the HIV-1 protease.
  • 1995-1999 : Post-doctoral research associate at Chimie ParisTech (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Paris) under the supervision of Prof. François Le Goffic : Development of immunosorbents for the analysis of traces of pesticides in the environment.
  • Since 1999 : Engineer position at the CNRS (Chimie ParisTech (1999-2013) in the team of Dr. Anne Vessières), and at Sorbonne University – Paris VI since 2014, in the ChemBio team.
