Presentation CASCH group

The scientific positioning of the group will be to develop, simplify and perpetuate new catalytic systems with a moderate environmental impact, and thus sustainable spin-offs for future chemistry. The CASCH team’s research will be divided into three main thematic areas:

• The development of low-cost catalytic processes using non-noble metal catalysts, or catalysts that do not involve metals.
• The valorisation of biomass feedstocks in order to move away from processes based on petroleum chemistry.
• The development of heterogeneous catalytic processes, using supported metal species and metal nanoparticles.
