Research interests

Chirality, organometallic chemistry and coordination, luminescent coordination networks, luminescent carbene complexes, nanocages and coordination polymers.

Current research

  • Chirality: from mononuclear to polynuclear systems.
  • Luminescent coordination networks: networks built with organometallic ligands.
  • Coordination complexes with luminescent carbene ligands.
  • Organometallic chemistry of Cp*M fragments (M=Ru, Rh, Ir): Stabilization of reactive intermediates and asymmetric catalysis.
  • Nanocages and confined environment chemistry.

  • Post-doctoral training 1988, subject : Activation of C-H bonding by transtion metal hydride complexes, ICSN Gif sur Yvette, under the supervision of Dr Hugh Felkin.
  • Post-doctoral fellowship 1992, subject : Oligocyclopentadienyl metal complexes as electron transfer reagents, UC-Berkeley (USA), under the supervision of Prof. K. Peter, C. Vollhardt, and M. M. B. K. Peter, C. Vollhardt.
  • Head of the ARC group ” ARChitectures Moléculaires : Auto-Assemblage, Reconnaissance et Chiralité ” in the IPCM UMR 7201. Since 01/2009.
