Radical cyclisations, homogeneous catalysis, total synthesis, synthesis

Current research

  • transannular radical cyclization cascades
  • total synthesis of natural sesquiterpenes
  • radical reactivity of silylated oxygenated or nitrogenous heteroatomic bond
  • reactivity of 1,5-enynes in the presence of PtCl2
  • rhodium catalyzed cyclocarbonylation of 1,4-enynes esters

  • July 1987-Jan. 1989 : Post-doctoral internship, Okayama University (Japan), with funding from the "Japan Society for the Promotion of Science JSPS" under the direction of Sigeru TORII. Theme : Organic electrosynthesis.
  • June 1987 : Doctorate, University of Reims Champagne Ardenne, with funding from the Ministry of Research and Technology under the direction of Jean-Pierre PETE. Title : photochemical reactivity of α,β-unsaturated ketones : preparation and aromatisation of aryl and heteroarylcyclohexanenediones-1,2. Preparation and stereochemical study of α,β-unsaturated oxetanes.
