  • Selective C–H Functionalization of Furfural and its Derivatives

Scientific background:

  • Since october 2021: PhD thesis at Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Dr. Julie Oble (IPCM, UMR 8232).
  • April-Sept. 2021: Erasmus+ research internship projet at Institut Parisien de Chimie Moléculaire (IPCM – UMR 8232) in Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Prof. Giovanni Poli and Dr. Julie Oble.
    Topic: Palladium-Catalyzed [3 + 2]-C−C/N−C Bond-Forming Annulation.
  • 2018-2020: Master in Chemistry at Università di Genoa (Genoa, Italy).
    • Nov. 2019-Dec. 2020: Research internship in the BOG group at Università di Genoa (Genoa, Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Luca Banfi and Dr. Chiara Lambruschini.
      Topic: A thorough study on the photoisomerization of ferulic acid derivatives.
  • 2016-2018: Bachelor in Chemistry at Università di Genoa (Genoa, Italy).
    • Aug. 2017-Sept. 2017: Research internship in the BOG group at Università di Genoa (Genoa, Italy) under the supervision of Dr. Lisa Moni.
