Current research:

  • Gem-Binucleophilic Linchpins for Orthogonal Multicomponent Asymmetric Reactions

Scientific background:

  • Since February 2021: PhD thesis at Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Drs. Olivier Jackowski, Alejandro Pérez-Luna and Prof. Fabrice Chemla (IPCM, UMR 8232).
  • Jan.-March 2020: Research stay at Georg-August Universität (Göttingen, Germany) in the team of Prof. Lutz Ackermann. Winner of Erasmus+ scholarship 2019/2020.
    Topic: Development of new protocols for the photocatalyzed direct C-H arylation of heteroarenes (especially azoles) involving aryldiazonium salts.
  • Oct. 2018-Oct. 2020 : Master in Organic Chemistry at Università di Pisa (Pisa, Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Bellina.
    Topic: Synthesis of (Hetero)biaryls Through the Use of Diazonium Salts.
  • Oct. 2015-April 2018 : Bachelor degree in Chemistry at Università di Pisa (Pisa, Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Fabio Bellina.
    Topic: Study of the influence of aromatic solvents on the selectivity of the Pd-catalyzed direct C-H arylation reaction of 1-methyl-1H-imidazole with aryl bromides.
