Research interests:

C-H activation, flow chemistry, heterogeneous catalysis, surface functionalization, furfural, Murai reaction.

Current research:

  • Synthesis of a supported ruthenium catalyst.
  • Murai reaction by hetereogeneous catalysis.
  • Setting up of a heterogeneous catalysis batch process into a continuous flow process.

Scientific background:

  • Since october 2019: PhD thesis at Sorbonne Université under the supervision of Drs. Julie Oble and Myriam Roy and Prof. Giovanni Poli (IPCM, UMR 8232) in collaboration with Drs. Juliette Blanchard and Catherine Louis from Laboratoire de réactivité de Surface (LRS, UMR 7197).
  • Sept. 2018-Sept. 2019: Apprentice in Chemical Synthesis (Master 2 level) at Sanofi (Chilly-Mazarin, France) under the supervision of Dr. François Pacquet.
    Topic: Late-stage functionalization of high value-added molecules (methylation and trifluoromethylation) through direct C-H functionalization: Exploring radical chemistry, Palladium(II) catalysis and photochemistry.
  • 2018: Master 1 in Organic Chemistry at Sorbonne Université.
    • April-Aug. 2018: Research internship at Sorbonne Université (IPCM) and at Universidade de Lisboa (iMed.UL, Lisbon, Portugal) under the supervision of Drs. Julie Oble and Filipa Siopa.
      Topic: Palladium-catalyzed functionalization of a vinyl-aziridine bicycle through a Tsuji-Trost reaction.
  • Nov. 2016-Sept. 2017: Apprentice in Chemical Synthesis (Bachelor level) at IPCM (Sorbonne Université) under the supervision of Dr. Virginie Mouriès-Mansuy and Prof. Louis Fensterbank.
    Topic: Multi-step synthesis ; Preparation of a new rhodium (I) complex and applications in 1,6-enyne cycloisomerization reactions.
