Presentation of the lab

published on , updated on

About 20 professors, researchers and technicians and 20 students (post-docs, PhDs or Master students) are engaged in studying fundamental aspects of polymerization reactions in order to prepare new macromolecular materials with controlled structures and properties.

The following topics are more particularly studied :

Polymerizations :

- Controlled free radical polymerizations,
- Catalyzed polymerizations,
- Green polymerization,
- Conjugated liquid crystal polymers for organic electronics.

Self-assemblies :
- Supra(macro)molecular assemblies (nanotubes, gels, core-shell particles),
- Nanostructured surfaces for nanophotonics.
